Education - What is It?
Tony Blair has banged on about education for those and made an enormous statement with these damning words ‘education, education, education‘. It is extremely easily said and possibly understood by a few but doesn‘t this change from person to person and from society to society?

There are numerous issues involved defining the phrase education. In general, Oposiciones.pw is defined as going to school, then university or college and thereafter obtaining a job. Obviously, passing of exams reflects how clever a person is. However, do exams reflect how intelligent an individual is or have we as a society attached a label to it? It must be noted that many people are ‘academically‘ bright. From this, I mean they‘re enthused by learning theory at schools and study challenging for exams and then pass getting pretty high grades. On the other hand, it should be taken to attention that academically intelligent people may lack intelligence in other fields. Perhaps you have looked at that? As an example, an individual who gets high grades for exams might not have the social skills necessary for the ‘real world‘. So doesn‘t this mean their studies were pointless? Can we must study very difficult and acquire good grades to obtain the title ‘intelligent‘? In the end, if we examine historical figures, did each goes to school? Did inventors start similar to this. These are the basic questions we need to ask ourselves.

Personally, being a student at postgraduate level, I‘ve met many individuals from around the world. Out of this experience We have found that just how intelligence is measured within this modern society is something to think about. From medical professionals to cleaning staff, We have met a range. From this, I‘m able to conclude how the way intelligence is measured in society is worrying. Individuals with degrees are working in areas which has no relevance for their area of interest and people are constantly being employed for reasons apart from their academic qualifications. Therefore, are schools preparing us for your big bad world? An answer we can receive taking a look at what‘s happening around us. Personally, i believe that ‘intelligence‘ is measured in the wrong way. After all, academic qualifications are purely based on gaining a title which sticks with wherever we go but our minds are continuously picking up information, ideas, where ever you look..from people we meet and interact with. Furthermore, countries high is not any formal institution to instruct doesn‘t mean that the people in that society are uneducated but perhaps more educated as they need to gain skills without the kind of guidance from ‘so-called‘ professional bodies which, let‘s be honest, aren‘t always the most brightest.
